Twas the night before Christmas when all through the office,
All employees had gone, all devices turned off,
No keystrokes to be heard, no monitors alight,
The Janitor’s whistles filled the night.
The coffee pot washed and hung out to dry,
(eat the food in the fridge and you might die);
The water cooler gurgled, the modem light blinked,
Dirty dishes were piled high in the sink.
With the screech of his breaks, and the slam of a door,
The UPS man dropped a package on the first floor;
With no one to receive the bundle left there,
The snow piled up without a care.
Following the tracks left in the snow,
We see late night shoppers still on the go;
Preparedness is key to enjoy the holidays,
Get Stuff Done early is what the boss will always say.
